Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical sales process from introductory net-new meetings through post-sales (customer satisfaction, upselling, subscription renewals).
•Support customer technical needs by discovering new use cases with focus on Generative AI, predictive analytics, and enterprise MLOps.
•Design customer solutions using Cloudera technologies based on reference architectures and patterns (open data lakehouse, RAG, end-to-end ML pipelines).
•Demonstrate Cloudera products, including data engineering pipelines, model training/deployment workflows, and GenAI features.
•Partner with account managers and other Cloudera teams to drive successful sales and ensure customers hear one Cloudera voice.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years in a customer-facing role, ideally pre-sales, focused on big data platforms, enterprise software, or advanced analytics.
•Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations translating complex data and AI concepts into business value.
•Experience with big data/data warehousing/relational databases (e.g., Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, Hive, Hadoop ecosystem).
•Hands-on AI & ML experience using modern frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain/LlamaIndex), vector databases, and GenAI architectures (RAG, fine-tuning, model serving).
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; ability to travel domestically and internationally.
