Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of operational problems across plant and distribution systems (e.g., boilers, heat exchangers, chillers, piping).
  • •Perform preventative maintenance per PM schedules, monitor equipment performance, and ensure availability to meet production requirements.
  • •Respond to equipment breakdowns with fault finding and troubleshooting, and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Maintain EH&S compliance by conducting JSA risk assessments, following LOTO procedures, writing/issuing permits (hot work, confined space, working at heights), and participating in safety meetings, audits, and PHA/PS studies.
  • •Execute start-up/shut-down activities, manage spares and maintenance consumables inventory, and coordinate maintenance activities with stakeholders and shared services.

Key Requirements

  • •Trade qualification (Fitter and Turner, Fitter/Welder).
  • •Current Confined Space Entry ticket, Forklift license, EWP ticket, and First Aid training.
  • •About 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing plant.
  • •Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and priority-setting skills.
  • •Sound mechanical and chemical process logic, plus working knowledge of relevant standards and operating procedures.
