Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop array waveforms with timing and biasing conditions for NAND Flash read/program/erase and validate waveform implementation with firmware, analog, and design validation teams.
  • •Plan wordline/bitline path architecture by area, performance, and power; determine circuit block placement and integrate blocks into the chip plan.
  • •Perform die size cost/benefits analysis for new array circuits/algorithms and collaborate to evaluate and improve NAND power consumption.
  • •Generate Xpath, Ypath, and array schematics, integrate core schematics into fullchip schematics, and lead layout implementation with block/subsystem/fullchip simulations.
  • •Build and maintain Python-based automation and AI-assisted utilities that integrate with EDA environments to speed up environment setup, corners, regression runs, documentation, and predictive design/layout techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •MS in electrical engineering required (Ph.D. preferred) with 4+ years of NAND design experience, including prior CIM projects led or contributed.
  • •Strong fundamentals in semiconductor and device physics, analog/mixed-signal circuit design, and semiconductor reliability topics (CHC, NBTI, stress, snapback, EM, IR analysis).
  • •Strong circuit debugging, problem-solving, and experience with circuit verification, optimization, layout planning, and parasitic extraction.
  • •Strong coding skills in Python, with comfort working with structured data (CSV/JSON/SQLite) and using version control.
  • •Ability to develop and maintain array waveforms and schematics (Xpath/Ypath/array) and support layout implementation and simulation workflows.
