Key Responsibilities

•Perform station shift operation and maintenance, including startup and shutdown of main plant components and auxiliaries.
•Operate according to SOPs and safety standards; respond to abnormalities with corrective actions.
•Conduct routine tours, read/record gauges and meters, and perform operational test and adjustments.
•Maintain accurate shift operating logs, time sheets, work orders, and other plant administrative documents.
•Carry out preventive/predictive maintenance, plant switching/tagging, cycle chemistry testing, and troubleshoot plant problems and incidents.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is required.
•Minimum of four years of relevant work experience.
•State of Ohio 3rd Class Stationary Engineer license is required.
•Knowledge of utility/power plant mechanical and electrical equipment and ability to learn site-specific systems.
•Knowledge of power plant safety and ability to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and communications (verbal and written).
