Key Responsibilities

  • •Own welding and process engineering for ASME&A&B land boilers product, including quality and process standards.
  • •Manage welding documentation, including WPQR/WPS and welder certificates.
  • •Establish and continuously improve the welding quality control system and handle NCRs with repair procedures.
  • •Lead training and mentorship for welders, including designing training processes and supporting routine skill evaluation.
  • •Drive welding process improvement by specifying/selecting new welding technology/equipment, reducing material consumption, and leading automation/technology projects, including supplier on-site technical support.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 8 years of experience in boiler and pressure vessel welding technology, inspection, and management, with practical operation ability.
  • •Extensive experience with advanced welding methods (TIG, MIG, laser welding) and implementing automation/robotics in welding processes.
  • •Familiarity with welding standards and materials science, including ASME and NB/GB/TSG and EN standards.
  • •Ability to lead technical projects and drive change, with strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in welding or Metals & Materials Engineering, plus a relevant welding qualification/certificate (e.g., IWE) and strong English communication.
