Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary on-site technical liaison between GM Audio and Noise Management teams and Bose engineering for software integration, calibration, diagnostics, and implementation.
  • •Perform first-level issue triage by reproducing bench/vehicle/production/field issues, capturing logs/traces/network data, and isolating likely failure domains.
  • •Partner on root-cause analysis, verify corrective fixes within local scope, and provide evidence for formal regression and release validation.
  • •Clarify and communicate system/diagnostic/software requirements, support requirement updates and engineering change proposals, and coordinate calibration/BIN-file deliveries into GM systems.
  • •Maintain Jira and configuration/release records, track program variants/configurations/risks/dependencies, and provide concise program status and action follow-up during reviews and launch support.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant experience in automotive embedded software, system integration, ECU development, or supplier design/development.
  • •Hands-on experience with in-vehicle and bench integration, issue reproduction, log/trace analysis, root-cause investigation, and fix verification using automotive diagnostic tools and communication protocols.
  • •Experience with software and calibration flashing, configuration management, release workflows, Jira, requirement-management tools, and change management using ASPICE or Agile processes.
  • •Strong customer-facing and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities.
  • •Valid driver’s license required for GM proving-ground credentials, including MPG Level 2 training; 10%-15% domestic and occasional international travel required.
