Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of electrical engineers and collaborate with other engineering disciplines on detailed electrical design and specifications.
  • •Design electrical power distribution systems and related equipment, including switchgear/motor control centers, lighting, UPS units, emergency generators, automatic transfer switches, and power monitoring systems.
  • •Perform electrical engineering support for facility technicians, including troubleshooting existing electrical equipment and controllers.
  • •Conduct electrical analyses such as load flow analysis, electrical equipment evaluation, grounding, and power monitoring hardware/software support.
  • •Ensure electrical designs and installations conform to applicable codes, including conducting code review and analysis using NFPA/NEC standards, and coordinate installations with local utilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
  • •3+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects and power systems including power distribution, switchgear, UPS units, and/or generators.
  • •Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
  • •Ability to read and understand technical equipment operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • •Experience with electrical systems and controls such as medium voltage distribution and/or variable frequency drives (VFDs) is preferred.
