Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive and assist in the management, coordination, and execution of risk management activities across Custody within Securities Services.
  • •Maintain and dynamically review the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) based on risk triggers and business changes; ensure escalation paths are adequate.
  • •Support end-to-end incident management, including timely updates in GEMS/Helios, action tracking, stakeholder follow-ups, and formal closure.
  • •Perform thematic analysis of incidents across custody to identify recurring drivers and risk themes; recommend control/process improvements to reduce reoccurrence.
  • •Prepare and maintain risk and governance packs, validate data accuracy, and communicate risk matters across custody and relevant governance forums.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of Securities Services activities, products and processes, with specific knowledge of Custody Business.
  • •Strong risk/control background and understanding of the risk management framework.
  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree in related fields such as business or finance.
  • •Previous experience in operational risk or internal risk and control functions.
  • •Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable with reporting tools and databases; data-driven automation/analytics skills (e.g., AI, advanced Excel, Python, Power BI) are an advantage.
