Key Responsibilities

•Develop new highly automated manufacturing and pilot lines from concept to production for new and existing products.
•Drive development of new/innovative manufacturing processes from proof of concept through to full scale production that enable improved battery performance and/or cost.
•Plan and Execute DoEs to characterize boundary conditions and optimize process for manufacturability and quality.
•Own design/manufacturing liaison relationship to optimize product from an automation standpoint prior to release.
•Drive equipment and process optimization to increase yield, throughput, and availability while reducing cost and lead-time.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
•3+ years of experience in manufacturing and design of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems, with at least 1 year specifically focused on electric motors or electromechanical actuators.
•Experience developing and launching a manufacturing assembly line from concept to production with actuators or drive systems.
•Proficiency in CAD software, specifically NX, for test fixture design, with an understanding of design for manufacturability for various methods (e.g., CNC, 3D printing).
•A strong sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
