Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop new highly automated manufacturing and pilot lines from concept to production for new and existing products.
  • •Drive development of new/innovative manufacturing processes from proof of concept through to full scale production that enable improved battery performance and/or cost.
  • •Plan and Execute DoEs to characterize boundary conditions and optimize process for manufacturability and quality.
  • •Own design/manufacturing liaison relationship to optimize product from an automation standpoint prior to release.
  • •Drive equipment and process optimization to increase yield, throughput, and availability while reducing cost and lead-time.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •3+ years of experience in manufacturing and design of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems, with at least 1 year specifically focused on electric motors or electromechanical actuators.
  • •Experience developing and launching a manufacturing assembly line from concept to production with actuators or drive systems.
  • •Proficiency in CAD software, specifically NX, for test fixture design, with an understanding of design for manufacturability for various methods (e.g., CNC, 3D printing).
  • •A strong sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
