Operate and monitor a hybrid power generation facility (PV, BESS, ICE) ensuring safe, stable, and efficient output. Perform routine checks, assist with maintenance and troubleshooting, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with supervisors and fellow operators to manage plant operations across desalination and power assets in the Middle East.

Job Function: Industrial, Process & Manufacturing Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure compliance with safety rules and fire equipment awareness within the area, following the Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer and Senior O&M Operator instructions
•Monitor parameters, log readings, and summarize shift activities in the log book
•Inspect area and auxiliaries to ensure equipment parameters stay within limits and report abnormalities
•Coordinate with Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer for equipment isolation/lining up and maintain tidy work area post-maintenance
•Perform electrical switching for low to medium voltages and implement prescribed risk controls

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3-4 years in Desalination/Power plant operations
•Educational: Diploma (Preferred Degree)
•Knowledge of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles
•Knowledge of waste identification, classification and disposal and Emission Monitoring
•Interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team and follow standard procedures
