Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead architecture, technical strategy, and delivery of STaaS capabilities with primary ownership of Redis/Valkey and queuing or messaging services.
  • •Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency Redis/Valkey platform services for caching, persistent key/value workloads, distributed coordination, and internal use cases.
  • •Design reliable queuing and messaging abstractions supporting delivery guarantees, ordering, retries, dead-letter queues, replay, backpressure, and idempotent consumers.
  • •Build and evolve the STaaS control plane for logical resource provisioning, lifecycle management, policy enforcement, quotas, and cloud-provider consistent blueprints.
  • •Integrate and secure Redis/queuing with STaaS security/tenancy/telemetry models; establish operational standards, lead migrations, and mentor engineers while participating in on-call incident response.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of hands-on software development in an object-oriented language such as C#, C++, or Java (or equivalent).
  • •5+ years designing, implementing, and operating distributed systems or cloud platform services in production.
  • •Experience with Redis or Valkey (data structures, persistence, replication, clustering/sharding, eviction, failover, performance tuning, capacity management).
  • •Experience designing and implementing queuing/pub-sub/messaging systems with delivery semantics, ordering, retries, dead-letter handling, and consumer scalability.
  • •Experience with distributed systems concepts (API design, concurrency, fault tolerance, consistency) and production operations/observability.
