Key Responsibilities

  • •Read, review, and understand financial statements including tax returns, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, agings, borrowing base certificates, debt schedules, credit bureau reports, rent rolls, lease agreements, and appraisals.
  • •Analyze creditworthiness by spreading historical and projection-based financial statements, calculating cash flows, leverage and liquidity ratios, evaluating collateral, researching borrowers and industries, and identifying risks.
  • •Author comprehensive written credit analysis reports using data analysis (charts, formulas, graphs) and narrative.
  • •Evaluate credit quality and suggest proper risk rating based on the most recent financial information and credit structure.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and FIB credit policy requirements; assist relationship managers with quarterly monitoring and perform covenant testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required, or 7-9 years of banking experience and/or equivalent education and experience.
  • •1-3 years of experience in a similar position required.
  • •Commercial banking experience preferred.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to acclimate to other programs.
  • •Experience with financial spread software and strong analytical skills to support credit risk decisions.
