Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently design, build, and maintain complex streaming-service modules with sound judgment across ambiguous problems.
  • •Own components end to end: drive execution, apply engineering practices, meet quality/operational standards, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • •Operate services in AWS across multiple regions, primarily using ECS/EC2, with supporting services such as S3, DynamoDB, SQS, ElastiCache/Redis, Lambda, and CloudFront.
  • •Improve performance and resiliency via caching/eviction strategies, retry and dead-letter recovery, and scaling policies using concrete measurements.
  • •Troubleshoot and root-cause production issues with limited supervision, participate in incident response, and drive follow-up improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •5+ years of hands-on software development building and operating production services.
  • •Strong production experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, or backend experience in another language with demonstrated ability to ramp to Node.js.
  • •Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience, especially ECS and EC2, and experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenSearch with multi-environment deployment.
  • •Strong algorithms and mathematics skills, plus distributed systems experience (REST/WebSocket, JSON/Protobuf) and basic observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
