Job Summary

Support one or more phases of the SDLC for defense radar software—requirements, design, development in C/C++, test, validation, and maintenance. Work with cross-functional agile teams to deliver scalable features, troubleshoot and optimize performance in complex environments, and maintain architecture and design documentation. Stay current with modern development and DevSecOps practices, apply AI to improve efficiency across the SDLC, and broaden radar domain knowledge in an onsite Huntsville team.

Key Responsibilities

•Support one or more SDLC phases including requirements, design, development, test, validation, and maintenance for radar software.
•Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to define, design, and implement new scalable features with proper system integration.
•Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and efficiency in complex environments.
•Write and maintain documentation for software applications, including system architecture and design specifications.
•Participate in product reviews, adhere to engineering standards, and stay current with modern languages, AI, and DevSecOps methodologies and technologies.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience using C++ development on a Linux or Unix-based platform.
•Experience with radar software development topics such as radar systems and signal processing, DSP (e.g., FFTs/filtering), RF/antenna concepts, radar scene/signal modeling, and/or electronic attack/electronic protection concepts.
•Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance prior to start, and U.S. citizenship is required.
•Ability to obtain an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to the start date.
