Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the development of design system software for analytical systems including aerodynamics, structures, dynamics, and performance.
  • •Improve engineering processes to increase productivity and overall quality of deliverables.
  • •Leverage DevOps experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps to develop or modernize analytical software tools.
  • •Conduct multi-disciplinary design optimization projects (MDAO) and support user training for analytical tools and HPC environments.
  • •Participate in project planning and scoping (requirements analysis, design, and peer reviews) and build cloud-based infrastructure-as-code (IaaS) solutions on AWS.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •8+ years of experience in software development and DevOps.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python, and ideally experience with C, Fortran, or Rust.
  • •In-depth knowledge of automated testing methodologies and tools such as pytest.
  • •Practical knowledge of Agile project management and software development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
