Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as people & portfolio lead (group manager) for geotechnical staff in Uppsala, Gävle, and Västerås while supporting business and team growth.
  • •Split time between client assignments and leading/developing team members.
  • •Ensure competence supply, maintain and develop customer relationships, and contribute to sales and bid activities.
  • •Hold personnel responsibility for group members and work with unit leader and other group managers on team strategies and culture.
  • •Work as assignment lead and technical responsible and/or project designer/reviewer/expert in active geotechnical projects.
Travel: Low travel

  • •Academic education and solid geotechnical expertise from several years of work experience in the societal development sector.
  • •Coaching leadership style with positivity, presence, and attentiveness.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly and inclusively, and structure work while sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • •Strong customer orientation and desire to grow market share and position WSP in society development.
  • •Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written.
