Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the front face of Serco, managing the customer experience for all visitors and staff attending the Assessment Centre.
  • •Prepare and run daily assessment sessions (telephone, video, and face-to-face) to ensure capacity, accurate records, and waiting times below 30 minutes.
  • •Coordinate daily appointment sessions by maintaining regular contact with customers and functional assessors and managing capacity to avoid cancellations.
  • •Support customers with assessment enquiries and expenses-claim related questions, and provide general administration (e.g., answering the telephone, copying documents).
  • •Ensure the assessment centre is ready each day by managing equipment and supplies, provide first aid (training provided), and act as the local Health and Safety contact.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully gain a BPSS security clearance check to undertake the position.
  • •Experience working effectively in a customer-facing environment and responding with care to claimants’ needs.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain and develop working relationships.
  • •Strong planning and organization skills, with demonstrable influencing ability to support excellent customer experience.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and a clear attention to detail to ensure documentation is collated and correct.
