Key Responsibilities

  • •Own business plan and budget execution, recruitment of in-country function and delivery leads, and delivery against P&L targets.
  • •Manage JV governance including Monthly Managing Committee and Biannual General Assembly meetings and execute actions arising from them.
  • •Ensure legal and statutory compliance under the Joint Venture Agreement and Iraq government requirements, including HSSE leadership, auditing schedules, and proactive resolution of quality and HSSE issues.
  • •Drive business development in Iraq by creating key opportunity strategy, targeting market/clients, and leading proposals to apply correct technical and commercial models.
  • •Oversee contract execution and the execution model across engineering/consultancy support and workshops/logistics/equipment supply, and resolve complex issues with escalation to the Managing Committee.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (bachelors or masters) in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
  • •Typically more than 15 years of broad and extensive pertinent experience.
  • •Essential experience delivering Operations and Maintenance Contracts in complex brownfield environments.
  • •Essential strong commercial acumen and experience in business development plus proposals/tendering.
  • •Expert stakeholder management experience managing challenging stakeholders and coaching/advising others.
