Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, run, and maintain analysis pipelines supporting experimental programs, including large-scale sequence analysis and related computational biology workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, biophysics, machine learning, computer science, or a related quantitative or biological field (or equivalent industry research experience).
  • •Have led computational biology research end to end, from question to result, with evidence of impact (e.g., publications, released datasets/tools, or research that changed a program).
  • •Demonstrate breadth across multiple areas of computational biology.
  • •Be proficient in one or more programming languages used in scientific computing and comfortable working with large datasets in Linux and cloud compute environments.
  • •Scope ambiguous biological questions into analyses that produce results experimentalists can act on; communicate findings clearly to biologists and ML researchers.
