Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine and emergency equipment repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.
  • •Read blueprints, manuals, and schematics to determine repair and assembly procedures.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns; assemble and install equipment.
  • •Complete metal fabrication, pipe fitting, hydraulics repair, and carpentry tasks; operate shop equipment to machine parts.
  • •Maintain safety and housekeeping standards, including lock-out/tag-out and confined space entry, and complete assigned work orders.

Key Requirements

  • •State indentured millwright card, or an associate degree in mechanics/electro-mechanical or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work standing/sitting up to 12 hours, including use of stairs and ladders.
  • •Read blueprints, manuals, and schematics to determine repair and assembly procedures.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance and repairs including laser alignment, leveling, squaring equipment, and replacing broken components.
  • •Practice safety at all times, including lock-out/tag-out and confined space entry procedures.
