Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement HR strategies aligned to Informa Markets Japan business objectives and global HR frameworks.
  • •Oversee talent acquisition end-to-end, including recruitment strategy, hiring process, onboarding, and succession/talent pipelines.
  • •Manage performance management processes, goal setting, and learning & development and career development frameworks.
  • •Handle employee relations, engagement initiatives, surveys and action plans, and support culture, D&I, and internal communications.
  • •Ensure HR compliance with Japanese labor laws, manage HR policies/contracts, oversee HRIS data accuracy, and conduct HR audits and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3-5 years in an HR management role.
  • •Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • •Deep understanding of Japanese labor laws and employment regulations, with HR compliance and risk management experience.
  • •Proven leadership/management experience managing HR teams and leading HR initiatives.
  • •Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency for collaboration; strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
