Job Summary

Shape the technical direction of a cloud-native cybersecurity platform by leading architecture and execution for a multi-quarter roadmap. You’ll remain hands-on with software development, drive scalable and resilient distributed systems, and ensure non-functional requirements like security, reliability, performance, and observability are built in. Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and security, translate operational learnings into improvements, and mentor engineers through architecture reviews and coaching.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical strategy and execution for a key engineering domain, driving a multi-quarter roadmap focused on new capabilities, operational excellence, observability, reliability, and customer experience.
•Contribute high-quality code, conduct design and code reviews, and set engineering best practices.
•Design and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems with scalability, performance, security, availability, and maintainability built into solutions.
•Drive end-to-end delivery of complex cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Product Management and engineering teams.
•Mentor and develop engineers via technical guidance, architecture reviews, career coaching, and engineering best practices while representing the team in technical forums.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
•12+ years of professional software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems.
•Strong programming expertise in Python and Go with experience developing and operating production-grade services.
•Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, design patterns, and microservices-based applications.
•Experience designing, building, and securing cloud-native applications on public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
