Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement legal debt recovery strategies across delinquency buckets, including legal notices and settlement negotiations.
  • •Initiate and manage civil/criminal recovery proceedings such as arbitration, DRT, NI Act (Section 138), and NCLT proceedings.
  • •Manage a portfolio of litigated accounts across India, coordinating with panel law firms and advocates and maintaining case MIS.
  • •Oversee vendor and law firm management, including appointing panel advocates, negotiating fees/SLAs, and conducting performance reviews and audits.
  • •Ensure regulatory and compliance oversight (including RBI guidelines if applicable, Consumer Protection Act, CPC, NI Act, DRT, and IBC) and report recovery metrics to senior management.
