Key Responsibilities

•Design and build large-scale machine learning algorithms to optimize e-commerce search engines, including ranking, query analysis, and correlation for sorting scenarios.
•Develop ML solutions and algorithm strategies from mining user query data to improve merchant-side capabilities and overall platform matching.
•Analyze large-scale creator and merchant behavior data to build targeted strategies that improve creators’ and merchants’ outcomes.
•Support rapid growth of TikTok’s e-commerce business by exploring more efficient business models and improving shopping experience quality.

Key Requirements

•Proficient in at least one programming language (C++, Python, Shell) with strong programming fundamentals and style.
•Experience in algorithm development and applying/optimizing Sparse LR, DFFM, Deep&Wide, and DSSM on large-scale sparse data.
•Familiarity with at least one mainstream deep learning framework (TensorFlow, Caffe, MXNet) and common deep learning algorithms.
•Able to solve problems independently with strong teamwork and communication skills.
•Preferred: experience in search engines, recommendation systems, or computational advertising-related fields.
