Job Summary

Provide expert, objective assurance for SAR reporting quality at Wise by conducting holistic, risk-based reviews of operational processes and controls. Assess risk, materiality, and root causes for findings, ensure decisions align with global/regional policies and risk appetite, and communicate outcomes with clear records and audit trails. Participate in calibration, analyze emerging themes and trends, and execute root-cause analysis or targeted investigations to drive continuous improvement and meet KPI/SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct holistic, risk-based reviews using test scripts and scorecards to assess risk outcomes and compliance with policies, guidance, and risk appetite.
•Assess risk, materiality, and root causes for findings and provide clear reasons aligned to policy compliance and/or risk mitigation.
•Participate in calibration exercises to share findings and ensure consistent, correct decisions across the team.
•Communicate outcomes to stakeholders, maintaining robust records and audit trails covering key risks, issues, root causes, and recommendations.
•When assigned, scope, plan, and execute root cause analysis or targeted investigations, and analyze emerging themes and trends to recommend continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70,500 - 84,625 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of QA experience related to BSA/AML, or experience in AML investigations or SAR reporting, with strong understanding of BSA/AML regulations and SAR requirements.
•Fluency in English (written and verbal) to clearly articulate recommendations.
•Good understanding of QA methodologies/frameworks, including testing procedures, scoring criteria, and root cause analysis.
•Risk and compliance expertise relevant to SAR reporting, including identifying and assessing risks and interpreting/applying policy requirements and guidance.
•Competence using case management systems, dashboards, and AI tools to support case working and analysis.
