Key Responsibilities

•Strategically partner with product managers, AI researchers, and engineers to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions and guide autonomous code transformation efforts.
•Drive the architectural vision and technical strategy for code generation tools; lead design and leverage GenAI to build scalable building blocks for an autonomous workflow.
•Define and champion engineering best practices, contribute foundational code, and mentor multiple teams to raise reliability and performance.
•Collaborate with security and product teams to ensure secure execution of code generation and LLM-based tasks while protecting client data and MongoDB IP.
•Build and maintain a stable, production-ready code transformation workflow, defining roadmaps and guiding technical designs across the Code Gen team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 137,000 - 270,000 annually

•8+ years of software development and operations experience with a track record of high performance and architectural excellence
•Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

•Experience designing and implementing complex software systems and collaborating across experience levels
•Practical knowledge of integrating GenAI into large-scale systems and understanding appropriate use cases for GenAI
