Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and submit accurate and timely annual Zakat returns, in accordance with the latest ZATCA guidelines and updates
  • •Ensure proper calculation and review of monthly VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns
  • •Coordinate, Prepare and Respond to ZATCA audits and assessments, including Zakat, VAT, and WHT inquiries
  • •Coordinate and compile documentation for Local Content audits, and actively communicate with relevant authorities, external auditors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and compliance
  • •Handle Transfer Pricing requirements and ensure timely submission of related documentation in accordance with ZATCA regulations
  • •Collaborate with internal, group holding and subsidiaries teams to ensure accurate GL accounting and reflect tax impacts on the financial statements
  • •Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring proper tax provisioning and reconciliations
  • •Provide management with timely and accurate tax-related reports
  • •Ensure ongoing compliance with tax regulations and company policies
  • •Stay updated on changes in tax laws, IFRS, IAS, and their application within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; professional qualification i.e. ACCA/ACA/CA/CPA is a plus
  • •In-depth knowledge of KSA tax regulations, including Zakat, VAT, WHT and TP is a must
  • •Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry
  • •Familiarity with IFRS and IAS standards
  • •Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • •Proficient in both English and Arabic
