Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide safety support by identifying and resolving issues and initiating continuous improvement programs to achieve GoalZERO performance and business continuity.
  • •Assess, communicate, and interpret occupational safety and health regulatory implications for employees and contractors; develop cost-effective compliance solutions.
  • •Own, support, and provide action plans to site safety programs and OE systems (standards, directives, advisories, and LFEs).
  • •Develop and implement safety and health training, and perform safety and health audits/assessments to sustain compliance and GoalZERO performance.
  • •Respond confidently to unannounced agency inspections by retrieving supporting documentation and interacting with inspectors; review/approve MOCs and support capital projects risk evaluation.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum of 6 years relevant safety and health experience in a petrochemical facility or related industries.
  • •In-depth knowledge of safety and health regulatory compliance programs associated with the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • •Experience developing and/or managing safety and health systems.
  • •CSP certification is strongly preferred.
