Job Summary

Lead and coordinate the NTAM Operational Resilience program within Asset Management, overseeing important business services, impact tolerances, value chain mapping, testing and remediation. Drive governance to strengthen the control environment, develop resiliency metrics, and support global rollout. Engage with business leaders, risk, audit, legal, compliance, regulators and technology control functions to ensure consistent resiliency practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coordinate and drive the NTAM response to Operational Resilience.
•Understand the regulatory Operational Resilience landscape globally, to support Subject Matter Experts across NTAM.
•Support ongoing review and oversight of NTAM adherence with the Operational Resilience Policy and Standard.
•Represent NTAM in discussions with SMEs across other Northern Trust Business Units.
•Facilitate maintenance of key resiliency components (Important Business Services, Impact Tolerances, Value Chain mapping, Scenario Testing) for consistency across NTAM.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•5 - 7+ years in Asset Management with operational risk management and/or resiliency.
•Expert knowledge of operational resiliency including disaster/business recovery, business continuity, third-party/vendor outsourcing, and risk policies/standards.
•Strong understanding of risk management practices in financial services and regulatory impact on resiliency.
•Ability to drive to execution with strong prioritization and cross-functional collaboration.
