Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead requirement scoping, business analysis, and functional design for transforming legacy core banking and customer data systems into modernized target platforms.
  • •Define user journeys and functional specifications by analyzing online transactions, screen workflows, and batch processes, and create user stories with technical acceptance criteria.
  • •Act as the primary bridge between Business Operations, product owners, and IT delivery teams to ensure operational alignment and technical feasibility.
  • •Drive end-to-end delivery through sign-off, screen mapping, demos, UAT planning, PVT/live proofing, and rollout support.
  • •Embed operational risk controls, data governance, and regulatory audit standards into system requirements; manage backlog priorities and support legacy system decommissioning and post-implementation BAU improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of business analysis or project delivery experience in banking IT, including core banking platforms, customer systems, or large-scale migration programs.
  • •Strong domain knowledge of Hong Kong banking operations and customer data (CUS) across retail and wholesale business lines (WPB and CMB/WSB).
  • •Practical understanding of banking products and servicing processes, including deposits, account maintenance, transactions, payments, and digital banking channels (BIB/PIB).
  • •Working knowledge of banking operational risk governance and controls (Maker-Checker/dual authorization, tiered approvals) plus audit remediation (e.g., MSII closure).
  • •Experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments and technical legacy migration activities such as screen-to-screen mapping, batch-to-online transition, and system interface analysis.
