Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform AV installation tasks including cable pulls/terminations, equipment/component installation, and rack fabrication and wiring layouts.
  • •Lead and direct installation crews on larger, more complex projects by coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • •Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints; verify quality of work for completed installations.
  • •Test point-to-point cabling and validate functionality of AV systems, including control and DSP systems (field load as necessary).
  • •Act as customer liaison on site, manage and secure jobsite equipment/tools, support documentation/material returns, and provide client training as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4–6 years of audiovisual, electronics, or related industry installation experience.
  • •Advanced proficiency installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic), including conduit runs and cable trays.
  • •Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across audiovisual equipment and network infrastructure integrated with AV systems (IP-based, streaming, cloud-based services).
  • •Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints and use hand/power tools safely and efficiently.
  • •Valid and current AVIXA CTS General Certification (and a valid driver’s license; high school diploma or equivalent required).
