Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers to support existing platforms and new product development
  • •Pull and aggregate the overall demand picture for hardware to enable an accurate demand signal and rate production
  • •Act as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
  • •Run the RFX process with internal stakeholders and implement sourcing decisions
  • •Manage cost to meet project budgets and forecasts and develop should-cost models

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering; or advanced degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • •Technical procurement/planning experience with PCB/PCBA or electrical components
  • •Experience reading datasheets, drawings, and blueprints
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; proficiency with MS Office, SQL, and Access
  • •Willingness to work irregular hours with global suppliers and travel up to 50%
