Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues using test instruments and road tests.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and maintain the company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Lead advanced diagnostics and triage for complicated repairs, functioning as a consultant for the customer and coordinating with customers/clients.
  • •Document work and findings by completing DOT forms and uploading repair order details and pictures via the company iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as 3 years with a degree/certification beyond HS/GED).
  • •Hold a current and valid DOT medical card (or complete a DOT physical) and successfully pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening.
  • •Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver’s license; maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • •Supply the required set of hand tools and be able to safely perform moderately heavy physical labor over long periods.
  • •Required: ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609 certifications (or obtain within 18 months).
