Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist senior personnel in carrying out commissioning activities and develop knowledge of commissioning processes and test procedures.
  • •Conduct site inspections in the mechanical/selected discipline and assess whether test procedures and recorded results meet project specifications and industry codes.
  • •Review project documentation for compliance with specifications and industry codes of practice.
  • •Report issues found to senior team members clearly and accurately, and liaise with contractors commissioning teams professionally.
  • •Carry out site observations regarding quality of installation and monitor installation, submittals, and engineering tools usage per project and commissioning guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •MEP / Building Services Engineering Degree (examples include BSc Mechanical Engineering or BSc Building Services Engineering).
  • •Minimum 2 years of job-related experience plus an Engineering Degree.
  • •Minimum 3 years of job-related experience plus a College Diploma, or minimum 4 years plus a College or Trade Certificate.
  • •MEP / Building Services Engineering qualification including HNC/HND/ONC/OND, or trade time served with relevant City & Guilds certificate.
  • •Industry accreditations/certifications such as BCA, ACG, or NEBB (desirable), and CSA Grade 3 (desirable).
