Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop Japan positioning and long-term marketing strategy grounded in cultural and consumer insights aligned to regional/global direction.
  • •Lead integrated marketing and campaign execution across media (social/digital, CRM), PR, retail, and experiential channels; localize storytelling and creative briefs.
  • •Oversee end-to-end media strategy, including demand generation/capture across paid digital, social, search, programmatic, and offline; track KPIs and optimize ROI.
  • •Drive digital/social and consumer engagement, including social content, influencer programs, community building, and omnichannel experiences.
  • •Lead PR and earned-media strategies (VIP/celebrity, KOL/KOC, gifting and seeding) and use analytics/market research and CRM data to translate insights into actionable recommendations; manage team and budget.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15+ years of progressive marketing experience in fashion, luxury, lifestyle, FMCG, or premium consumer brands.
  • •Minimum 5 years in senior roles leading large-scale brand or integrated marketing strategies and people management in Japan.
  • •Strong track record driving brand growth, integrated campaigns, and media strategies in the Japanese market.
  • •Experience navigating a global matrix organization and influencing cross-regional stakeholders.
  • •Fluency in Japanese and English.
