Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the security team and the topic, providing people leadership at scale and setting clear priorities and ownership.
  • •Own security in the AI era by defining an AI security posture, enabling safe AI adoption, and tracking evolving standards.
  • •Scale security programs across 10+ countries, maintaining ISO 27001/ISMS and regulatory compliance.
  • •Build and evolve Alan's security strategy, culture, and security-as-a-business asset.
  • •Communicate risk to non-technical audiences and collaborate with Legal, Risk, Engineering, Product, and Operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience leading security (or security-adjacent) teams with the ability to coach, structure, and elevate a highly technical group.
  • •Ability to cut through ambiguity, set a clear agenda, and provide structured ownership and priorities for the security function.
  • •Direct experience owning security in the AI era, including considerations for LLM security, AI governance, and guardrails for AI-powered features.
  • •Demonstrated track record with multi-regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, DORA, RGPD, HDS, NIS2, etc.) across multiple countries and health data environments.
  • •Strong risk management capabilities with vendor security assessments, third-party risk, and translating regulatory requirements into technical controls.
