Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain across the stack: contribute to backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces.
•Improve metadata matching: evolve database-to-catalog matching using ML-assisted approaches including entity resolution and LLM-powered disambiguation.
•Drive infrastructure modernization: lead infrastructure work to provide robust, scalable foundations in collaboration with platform and security teams.
•Take end-to-end ownership: design, build, ship, and operate with accountability for reliability and performance of owned systems.
•Be AI-forward: integrate AI tooling to automate toil, improve data quality, and accelerate developer productivity.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience building production software across two areas of the stack (backend, frontend, data systems, or infrastructure) with the ability to move between them.
•Proficiency in Python (ideally Django) and Java; production experience with PostgreSQL; familiarity with ElasticSearch is a plus.
•Modern web app experience with TypeScript and React; shipped user-facing features.
•Comfort with the production stack (Linux, cloud such as GCP) and reliability under load.
•Ability to work with ambiguity, take ownership, and apply AI to automate toil and improve data quality.
