Key Responsibilities

  • •Use proprietary software to create labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio projects.
  • •Translate and localize English UI copy, prompts, responses, and other written content into Hausa with linguistic and cultural accuracy.
  • •Deliver high-quality curated audio data that preserves linguistic and prosodic details (intonation, rhythm, accent) to support natural spoken output.
  • •Collaborate with technical staff to develop tasks that improve speech modulation, accent variation handling, noise robustness, and multilingual audio processing.
  • •Improve annotation tools and workflows with technical staff for efficient audio labeling.

Key Requirements

  • •Native proficiency in Hausa with exposure to accents, dialects, and regional variations.
  • •Proficiency in English (minimum B2) with clear, natural vocal delivery and pronunciation suitable for audio recording.

  • •Demonstrated ability to transcribe, translate, and localize between English and Hausa while preserving meaning, tone, and cultural nuance.
