Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop mechanical maintenance strategies for the CHPP team.
  • •Arrange weekly down days and manage secondary work orders.
  • •Ensure compliance with Anglo American safety and operating systems.
  • •Maintain the CHPP by implementing preventative maintenance and managing small projects.
  • •Work cross-functionally, troubleshooting maintenance problems and contributing to continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years’ experience in a mechanical planning function.
  • •Mechanical trade qualifications and tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Maintenance Management.
  • •Experience in large open cut mining operations, specifically maintenance of fixed plant.
  • •Previous planning experience and a strong understanding of fixed plant maintenance strategies.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Project, SAP, and downtime reporting (SAP and Microsoft Project highly desirable).
