Job Summary

Provide first-line managed security services for clients’ firewall infrastructure, keeping services operational by monitoring, identifying incidents early, investigating assigned events, and routing/resolving them through the correct resolver groups. Ensure zero missed SLA conditions, perform routine maintenance scheduling for patching and configuration changes, follow shift handover procedures, update knowledge articles, and support incident reduction and automation, with potential contribution to disaster recovery testing and project work.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to keep firewall services operational.
•Proactively identify and investigate problems/errors, determine root causes, and route incidents to the correct resolver group.
•Provide first-line support for standard/low-complexity incidents and service requests, including telephonic or chat support when required.
•Schedule maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes and follow shift handover procedures to ensure service continuity.
•Update knowledge articles, report/escalate incidents as needed, and identify opportunities for incident reduction, optimization, automation, and process improvement; may support disaster recovery implementation/testing.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and providing support for security/network/data center/system/storage administration and monitoring services in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products within the supported technical domain (e.g., Security, Network, Data Centre, Telephony).
•Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT/Computing qualification (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
•CCNA or relevant level 1 network security certification is good to have.
