Own LiveKit Inference, the gateway that gives developers managed access to top models for voice AI through a single integration. Set the product vision and roadmap, partner with engineering to ship a model layer developers adopt by default, and stay ahead of fast-changing providers and modalities. Drive customer and data insights, and consolidate model spend to increase customer value without increasing cost as you scale to become the go-to voice inference provider.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the LiveKit Inference roadmap: define vision, sequenced plan, and priorities for what gets built with engineering.
•Ship a model layer so developers reach for LiveKit by default, improving access versus integrating providers directly.
•Keep pace with the model landscape by deciding which models, providers, and modalities to add and when.
•Increase value delivered and captured by consolidating model spend onto LiveKit without raising customer cost.
•Work closely with customers and data to understand production model usage and shape product priorities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 225,000 - 265,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years in product management at a senior or staff level, ideally owning a developer-facing API, platform, or AI/ML product.
•Technical depth to reason about model serving, routing, latency, and quality tradeoffs (without needing to write code).
•Experience with products where cost, performance, and vendor/provider tradeoffs are central, and ability to keep a product current as the landscape shifts.
•Strong cross-functional influence in an engineering-led environment with high autonomy, using clarity and good judgment.
•Clear communication across board-level strategy and detailed technical discussions with engineering leads.
