Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • •Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • •Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • •Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions and develop/modify nursing care plans.
  • •Ensure all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged and support staff competence by creating a learning environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree/Diploma in General Nursing.
  • •Create/develop and modify nursing care plans and apply nursing processes and procedures.
  • •Demonstrate nursing record keeping and provide accurate documentation of nursing interventions.
  • •Infection prevention and control experience and knowledge of relevant nursing legislation.
  • •Be trained in basic life support (ACLS; ATLS; PALS training for specialised wards).
