Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead transmission and power system planning studies, including load flow, contingency, short-circuit, stability/dynamic performance, and voltage/reactive power analysis.
  • •Assess system reliability and compliance with NERC, FERC, and regional reliability standards.
  • •Identify transmission constraints and recommend system improvement, expansion, modernization, and resilience solutions.
  • •Evaluate integration of renewable generation, BESS, DERs, and emerging technologies into the power system.
  • •Provide regulatory, technical advisory support and develop technical reports and executive-level recommendations for clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of experience in power system planning, transmission planning, utility operations, energy consulting, or related fields.
  • •Demonstrated leadership of planning studies and client-facing engagements.
  • •Experience working with electric utilities, transmission operators, ISOs/RTOs, or energy developers.
  • •Strong knowledge of power system planning, transmission systems, and grid operations; familiarity with NERC/FERC and IRP.
