Key Responsibilities

  • •Own autonomy software architecture for planning, execution, perception, and debrief using open, modular architecture standards (MOSA/WOSA where applicable).
  • •Drive mission planning systems and mission execution software that manages vehicle behavior during missions.
  • •Own and develop perception systems to sense and interpret the environment.
  • •Develop mission debrief capabilities for post-mission analysis and continuous improvement.
  • •Build and maintain autonomy software development infrastructure (CI/CD, simulation, SITL/HITL) and lead interfaces and deliverables across development phases, including MBSE artifacts (e.g., SysML models and requirements traceability).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •5+ years of experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or AI/ML.
  • •Experience delivering software through full product development cycles for autonomous navigation, planning, or perception.
  • •Experience with modeling, simulation, and SITL/HITL testing, including safety-critical or high-assurance software.
  • •Proficiency in C++ and/or Python for real-time, mission-critical systems on Linux-based embedded/real-time operating systems, with CI/CD and version control tooling (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
