Key Responsibilities

  • •Continuously check for proper labeling and dating of product, including sorting leakers and non-number 1 product.
  • •Stack boxes of product onto pallets, lift product and rework tank covers as required, and push/pull tanks using appropriate equipment.
  • •Feed sausage into Tiermat packaging equipment, remove product from the conveyor, and move product to pans if machines are down.
  • •Execute setup and tear down of machines, clean machines at the end of the shift, and run proper collection and processing tests.
  • •Open and rerun #1 product when labels are not straight, identify rework to final packaging, complete paperwork/SAP functions, and perform job rotation and other assigned tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend up to 10 hours and work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
  • •Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level, including frequent lifting up to 20 pounds and handling up to 30–50 pounds as required.
  • •Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • •Ability to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required.
