Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage, and develop the IMS team to ensure the governance, assurance, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System across the project lifecycle.
  • •Oversee IMS strategy, control environment, and operational effectiveness, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations, certification requirements, and business needs.
  • •Manage the annual internal and external audit programme, including audit scope and priorities, business readiness, corrective actions, and escalation routes.
  • •Provide functional leadership on IMS matters, advising the business on impacts of organisational, regulatory, project delivery, and system changes, and producing consolidated management reports.
  • •Develop environmental KPIs and supporting evidence, govern management system documentation and records, and ensure effective follow-through on audit findings, corrective actions, and assurance outputs.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience of management systems governance, audit, and assurance within complex Engineering, Utility, Infrastructure, or Construction environments.
  • •Proven first-line people management experience, including performance management, coaching, and workload planning.
  • •Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (and ISO 55001) management system requirements.
  • •Experience leading or overseeing internal and external audit activity, including managing corrective actions and non-conformances.
  • •Degree qualification in an engineering, quality, environmental, HSEQ, or related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience), plus strong analytical and communication skills.
