Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction/heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times for testing during installation.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle varied installation scenarios, including basic electrical connections and complex wiring harness work for CAN network access.
  • •Diagnose and resolve installation problems, gather/analyze information, and develop alternative solutions; travel to client sites or rental yards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; own tools with some specialty tools provided.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and/or mechanical/electronics familiarity.
  • •Open to traveling within 250 miles of the local branch for up to a week at a time.
  • •Ability to drive and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, walking long distances, and lifting 25+ lb.
