Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers to support existing platforms and new product development.
  • •Aggregate the overall demand picture for hardware used for the Starshield satellite constellation to enable accurate demand signaling.
  • •Serve as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, partnering with internal stakeholders to run RFX evaluations and implement sourcing decisions.
  • •Manage costs against project budgets and forecasts, including developing should-cost models for competitive cost analysis.
  • •Ensure suppliers support prototype builds through ramp up and mass production, drive process improvements, and maintain strong supplier partnerships while implementing tools to manage supplier performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, material planning, production planning, supply chain management, or engineering; or 5+ years in purchasing/procurement/material/production/supply chain management in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience working in purchasing/procurement and supply chain planning for hardware components, with preferred PCB/PCBA or electrical component knowledge.
  • •Ability to lead and build teams, with a proven record of leadership skills.
  • •Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with detail-oriented, self-motivated execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • •Knowledge of current tools and applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, SQL, Access) and experience reading datasheets, drawings, and blueprints.
