Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle mold samplings and qualification for new, replacement, or rebuilt tools.
  • •Optimize molding processes to achieve dimensional limits at the approved cycle time and process capability targets.
  • •Create and maintain standardized process documentation (Master Process Sheets and Master Process of Adjustments).
  • •Support plants with troubleshooting and equipment/process/capability qualifications, including vendor qualification approvals.
  • •Lead process improvement through training, DOE/capability studies, and coordination with quality, R&D, and operations teams to reduce scrap and improve efficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years of processing experience in the plastics packaging industry (desired).
  • •Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external customers.
  • •Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • •Broad knowledge of injection stretch (one-step) or blow mold machine functionality, hydraulic circuitry and process control; experience with mold/hot runner design and testing; SPC beneficial.
