Job Summary

Manage the teller area to ensure efficient operations, accurate and timely customer transactions, and consistent service quality. Assign work duties and schedules, monitor cash limits and branch activity, approve teller transactions, and review timecards for absences and tardiness. Coach and train tellers on operational and auditing policies, cross-sell bank products, assist with complex customer issues, complete monthly audit reports, and ensure required BSA/AML compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lift coin bags up to 50 lbs and help ensure safe, alert operations.
•Assign teller work duties and schedules; monitor teller cash limits and make shipment decisions.
•Approve other tellers’ transactions and monitor/report branch activity (e.g., teller outages).
•Review timecards, track absences and tardiness, and communicate as needed.
•Provide guidance, coaching, and training to tellers, cross-sell products, assist with complex customer issues, and complete monthly audit reports and compliance training.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High school or GED plus specialized schooling/on-the-job education in a skill area, along with 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
•Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions with customers and employees in person-to-person and small group situations.
•Ability to perform basic math and work with rates, ratios, percentages, and bar graphs.
•Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, or diagram formats.
•Completes required BSA/AML training and other assigned compliance training.
